WHY DOES THE USPS CAUSE ME SUCH AGIDA???????????

So my free lenses from Shippingholics are still not here due to the zip code mix up. It happened on 6/25. It is now 6/30.....SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?! They need to fix it!!!!!! I am moving on 7/6 (more like 7/5 evening) and it is a holiday weekend. I'll never get it and then my dad will have to mail it whenever it gets here. Gah he's so nosy too.

On another note: why are people on youtube rude? I made my video review of my lenses and someone was so kind as to tell me: "Wow, you are so boring". Because I don't think you should be rude like that (I don't leave mean comments), I promptly deleted the comment. Now, I went to this person's page, and from their one video they seem to be a 14 year old boy. And by the looks of it, none too popular at high school. I considered leaving a comment or sending a message to him explaining why he is rude. Then I remembered that when I was his age I would've just told the older person that they were stupid and continue to be rude.

So please don't leave rude comments. It is mean and just because you are anonymous does not mean you can say whatever you feel. It is so rude when I go to hair tutorials, or makeup tutorials and users just comment on how the poster is "some stupid scene kid" or "you're a poseur"...stuff like that. Or when I see the really racist comments. I don't know why you are so insensitive.

And it isn't to say that I am not rude in person. If I know you and you piss me off, I'll tell you. But those are usually long-term friends or family and I don't mind hurting their feelings on occasion, since they are doing it to me.

Please, be nice.

so I was mad at the USPS this morning because I went to check the status of my free lenses from shoppingholics and it said that they had now been forwarded. Soooo "forwarded" meant they were being sent to a forwarding address or that the wrong zip code was on there. Well, where it was sent to, the zipcode had one digit wrong and it got sent to a different part of town :-( but unlike my old town, this one does not have double of the street name, so I think it only went to the post office and is hopefully being sent to my address. I will, begrudgingly, be going to the post office at around 8:30am to see if my package is en route to my house!!!!!! I WANT MY FREE LENSES!!!!

I would love to blame shoppingholics but it is a common mistake in my area. There are more than 30...I wanna say....zip codes in my town! And most of time it is one different digit. And they got my address this time from an email, so in a quick glance it got messed up. No biggy! I just want my lenses! I do not know what kind they are and I can't stand the antici.................PATION! o dr. frank n furter.

so yeah....hopefully they will be here before I move on 7/6!!!!!!!!!!!! review for that!

soo it is pretty much my last week of school! And I have so much homework due, it's ridiculous. I also procrastinate like crazy.....I shouldn't be blogging or making videos.......I just couldn't help myself ;-) so yeah I made some videos......on some stuff I bought.....you should check them out!

on a mini vacation! I am currently visiting my boyfriend!!!!!!!!!!!! we live 800 miles away from each other, but I am making the big move back up to him in about 2 weeks!!!! Majorly exciting! it is always neat to see him, because I will go about 2 or more months in between visits. there is always this neat nervousness/getting to know them again because, while I talk to him on Skype and on the phone, physically seeing him and hugging him is a little new each time ;-)

But I will not be updating any videos or products at the moment. I am in the process of receiving new lenses from shoppingholics.com!!!!! But I have to start packing and stuff when I get home. I am also having a not so good hair day since I slept with wet hair.

I do have a new sort of favorite leave-in conditioner. and it is super cheap. V05 moisturizing conditioner is fantastic as a leave-in!!!!! I bought it for 89cents, but I know Wal-Mart has it for about 75cents! My hair is super soft right now even though it is kind of flat haha.

surprises in the mail

so I'm at a super-mega store when my Dad calls me telling me I got a package in the mail. He tells me the return name but I can hardly hear. He explains it is heavy and only has my first name on it.....I can tell he is dying to open it because he is super nosy. I can't wait till I finish this semester and I can move back with my boyfriend to start the rest of my life. Anyway, I tell my dad I have no idea what it is, because I honestly do not! And then he tells me my rx sunglasses also came in the mail.

So what is the package you may ask? It is my complimentary voxbox from influenster.com! Now I thought they weren't actually going to send me anything as I assume they wouldn't follow through with their youtube message. But they did!!! Haven't opened it yet, because I will be doing a video about it today!

AHHHHH shoppingholics sent me an email saying they sent out my free lenses today!!!!!!!! Soooo excited!!!!!!!!!! It's a surprise as to what they are to! I'm so glad that there will be a present coming a week or so after I get back from vacation. :-)

as you already know, I purchased circle lenses from shoppingholics.com. and in my video I show you that they send a free face/eye mask with the lenses. welllllllll, I tried it! o yeah, they sent me a free eye mask! it is mainly for under your eyes.

yeah, I don't see a difference. I figured it wouldn't be an instant difference; it is probably something that would reduce the bags after using the mask religiously. but, it was free and I am not buying more. It made my eyes water at first, but that might be from putting it so close to my bottom lids. meh.

soooo Zenni Optical has finally sent out my sunglasses. on 6/1 I ordered prescription sunglasses because sometimes I am lazy and don't want lenses in....and when you are walking around outside all day, rx sunglasses will be better than dry contacts! now it only took about 11 days for them to be manufactured, but I did only pay $16 ish for them, so I shouldn't be complaining lol. But now I am waiting for a confirmation email from Shoppingholics.com because they are supposed to send me some free lenses!!!!!!!!!!! Exciting!!!!! If you want free lenses too, you can go on www.shoppingholics.com to find out more........do it betches. I am a little worried that they won't send them out today, like they said, because I am moving around 7/6 and I want these lenses to come here before that happens. there should be ample time, but I am such a worrywart. hopefully there will be an email from them in my inbox when I get home from work tonight!

Deodorant?

This might sound strange, but I don't wear deodorant... per se. I don't wear the traditional deodorant that you may pick up at the local super-mega-store of the like. I do wear something to deodorize my underarms, so fear not. But I use an all-natural alternative. I mean, have you ever looked at the back of the deodorant stick to see what the ingredients are?????

And I didn't want to put a brand's name out there, sorry Secret!!! I used to use Secret because I have some of the worst B.O. ever! I am Italian and I eat lots of onions and garlic, very bad combo. And these definitely help with the sweating too. And yes, the doctor will prescribe you the extra strength kind too, but the doctor doesn't always give the safest things. Clearly pill addiction is partly their fault. But anyway. Do you know how much aluminum you are putting in your armpit??? It's scary. There shouldn't be such an excess going into your body. And for women, if you are pregnant I wouldn't recommend using all these chemicals. It's funny; pregnant women try to be so safe and careful with what they eat and things like that, but they still stick all these chemicals in to their armpit. If you switch to my alternative, you might have one more thing to brag about while you're pregnant. In case you didn't know, women can be super catty when they are expecting. It's annoying.

So what do I use????? I use lime juice. Or lemon juice. I was using fresh cuts of lemons and limes on my underarms, but they are harder to travel with! So instead I bought the tiny bottles of lime juice in the produce section and put it in a little travel-size spritz bottle. So yes, I can travel with the deodorant.

Super easy!!! But beware, it does sting after shaving, lol. And you do have to let it dry before putting clothes on. Surprisingly the juice doesn't take too long to dry. But if this weirds you out, there are the all natural deodorants you can buy at the store. The brand I used, Tom's of Maine, made me stink after about an hour, so it was a no-go. Sad though because I really wanted to make it work, but I just smelled awful HAHA. But I am not kidding, the lime juice works sooooo unbelievably well on me. And I am really not kidding when I say I have bad B.O. My boyfriend has no problem telling me that I smell, so it's not something that I have only been aware of. He's so loving :-)

Give it a try! It can't hurt you, seriously. It is better than all that aluminum you are currently putting in your armpit.

My First Pair of Circle Lenses

I recently ordered some circle lenses from a company in Malaysia (shoppingholics.com). I ordered them on 5/27 and I received them exactly 2 weeks later, 6/10. To say I was excited yesterday was an understatement! My day at work couldn't go by slow enough, but it paid off because the lenses have to sit in solution anyway! But yeah, the brand I ordered are called "Princess Mimi/Bambi Chocolate Brown" circle lenses by Geo. They are designed by Japanese Gyaru Idol, Tsubasa Masuwaka.

Yes, that is Tsubasa and those are the brown lenses I ordered. What are circle lenses you ask? They are all the latest craze in Eastern Asian countries. They are a cosmetic contact lens that are usually larger in diameter than your normal contact lens, and they are designed to make your irises appear larger. In short words: they make your eyes look big! I ordered the Princess Mimi ones because they are currently the biggest enlargement size, 15mm, and I have brown eyes. You can get the lenses in all the typical eye colors, but also in Red, Pink, Violet, and for those of you who don't think this is a normal eye color, Gray. For my first pair, I didn't want anything too drastic, so I went with brown.

The color isn't terribly shocking, but it was to me at first. But the more I stared at myself in the mirror, the more I LOVE THESE LENSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOOO PRETTY!!!!!

While I do still have my food blog, I decided to create a style one...well stylish one! I like to talk about my weird style/lifestyle items, my clothes, my makeup and other stuff like that. Let's see how well I keep up with it lol.
